“It’s a Nutty Christmas: Create Your Own Wooden Nutcracker” Class Description: It’s the most wonderful time of the year — and the Freedman Arts District is about to make it even merrier! Join beloved artist Danie Connolly for a joyful, hands-on workshop where you’ll paint your own 24” x 48” wooden nutcracker panel — the perfect holiday decoration for indoors or out. Want to make it extra special? 🎅 Bring a photo of your dog or cat, and Danie will help you personalize your nutcracker with your pet’s face! (Please bring a clear printed or digital image for reference.) At the end of this fun and festive class, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind holiday masterpiece to treasure for years to come. Six years ago, Danie created her popular “It’s a Nutty Christmas” series, featuring 4- and 6-foot nutcrackers displayed throughout New England and the Lowcountry.
