At Freedman Arts District, we are absolutely thrilled as we look ahead to Chalk It Up Beaufort 2026—already shaping up to be the most colorful, creative, and community-driven event Beaufort has ever seen.

For 2026, we have more than 50 professional chalk artists signed on from across the country and abroad, all coming together to transform downtown Beaufort into a living, breathing outdoor art gallery. From mind-bending 3D illusions to vibrant contemporary works, these artists will quite literally turn our streets into canvases, ensuring Chalk It Up Beaufort is a feast for the eyes and a spark for the imagination.

Last year, we were truly astounded by the record-breaking turnout, the overwhelming community support, and the generosity of our partners and sponsors. It was our best year yet, and incredibly, we’ve already exceeded those expectations for 2026. The enthusiasm from artists, partners, volunteers, and visitors has been nothing short of extraordinary.
